At the beginning of July I was really excited to take part in my very first festival! I’ve never done the whole music festival thing and I have certainly never been invited to a literary festival before. So it was doubly exciting to be invited to contribute to schoolsfest in Cheshire by @Nantwichbooks. If you haven’t been to Nantwich Books then I thoroughly recommend it! Wonderful, enthusiastic booksellers…. with cake!
It was great fun to work with the children from several schools who all came along and did some great artwork and book design. They got a sneak preview of my next book and did a fabulous front and back cover. I even found a perfect model for the canine character!
