At last! My book is launched on the general public thanks to the wonderful Savill Gardens in Windsor Great Park.
I was so thrilled when I heard that I could hold my book launch at Savill Gardens. We’ve been coming here for years. Even prior to the amazing Savill Building! It’s a fantastic garden for children…. small in scale but with fantastic variety. Lots of things to see and do. The shop and café are wonderful too under that beautiful roof.
I was lucky enough to have a whole weekend for my launch! It was a bit chilly, being March, but the gardens were busy as it was Mother’s Day weekend so I have lots of visitors and some enthusiastic volunteers for the art activity. They came up with some brilliant ideas for outdoor activities in the different seasons and I definitely think there were some budding illustrators there! Look out, Rosie!
The weekend was a great success and I’m so proud that ‘Amelie’ is now on display in the Savill Gardens shop (next to The Tiger Who Came To Tea, no less!)
