That’s all folks! Today I read the final 4 chapters of our book club story. There was some drama, a few giggles and hopefully the ending they’ve all been waiting for.
Yes, there are a one or two plot holes to fill and some point of view issues to address. But I’ve done it. With the help of the fabulous book club members, I’ve written a whole story of more than 500 words. Along the way I’ve met some truly inspiring young readers, learned so much about myself as a writer, had a ball and eaten lots of biscuits.
Next week, my final book club week *sobs*, we’re going to have a bit of a party to celebrate getting to THE END. It’s my turn to provide the refreshments – no pressure!
