No snack this week as there was no book club (sob!) due to a school event. I got my chapters in a day early so members can read them before next week when it’s back to business as usual. I’ve tried to get a bit ahead and I’m about one and a half chapters into next weeks writing already so I’m hoping that by the end of September I’ll have two chapters, a whole week, in reserve! The pace is hotting up towards a big finish now so it’s getting easier to write the chapters as there is so much happening. The story and characters have their own momentum. That feels nice. The second chapter this week ended with the word ‘Kaboom!’ Let’s hope it doesn’t prove to be a damp squib!
