Picture Book Club used to run as a monthly book club for grown-ups who love picture books; writing them, illustrating them or just reading them. Each month we arranged a speaker or other book-related event and then there was a chance for a bit of networking and some nibbles. Previous speakers include Sophy Henn, Nicolette Jones, Mat Tobin, Meg McLaren and Yuval Zommer.
My own nascent picture book career meant it was increasingly difficult to organise our meetings so instead we went virtual and started a YouTube Channel. Before covid hit, we were able to get out and film at some bookish events. You can join in by watching our videos.
